Wealth Creation - Isn'T There More To Life Than Money And Wealth?

It is difficult for people in general to commit to wealth creation. In part, this has to do with the overwhelming effort that people perceive as necessary to creating wealth, and in part it has to do with the attitudes we have grown up with in regards to wealth. But when a person can be taught to change those negative attitudes towards wealth that are hindering his or her progress, he or she can begin to accept the effort as worthwhile.

Financial Conditioning In The Early Years

As children of average means, most people learn to deny money. They learn that there is more to life than money and that it isn't necessary to have money in order to be happy. They learn that money only causes problems and learn to disdain having money.

Ironically, these people lose site entirely of why money seems to be such a problem for them. They come to believe that having money will create more problems for them. But they ignore the fact that their own financial stress is at the root of their poor attitude towards money! Not having money to pay the bills, to do what they want in life, is what is causing them to hate money!

If people were to be honest with themselves, they would stop living in denial of money and accept money as simply a means to an end of living in the modern world. And they would embrace efforts at creating wealth so that they could live the life they want to be leading!

Breaking Down Barriers To Wealth Creation

Excuses are barriers to wealth creation. Convincing yourself that you don't need money is an excuse. Allowing yourself the luxury of believing that there is more to life than money is a barrier. Unless, that is, you are able to put that into perspective.

There is no denying that there is more to life than money. That is the basis of financial independence and wealth creation. Finding more in life is the entire point of wealth creation; it is not separate from it.

In fact there is more to life than money. But that cannot be an excuse not to pursue making money in order to enjoy the finer side of life. In truth, creating wealth and achieving financial independence, independence from working five or six days a week, independence from leaving the people and things you love for the majority of the waking hours, independence from the stress of worrying about money and having enough, is what allows a person to enjoy those things that transcend money.

Accepting this as truth is part of developing a mindset of success, the mindset that is needed to succeed not only in wealth creation, but truly to succeed in life.

Today's life is one that relies on working within the money systems of the world. That does not have to mean working within the banking and employment systems of the world. In wealth creation, that means working above those systems and living independently of them. Wealth creation means not being at the mercy of the financial powers that be.

Being above those systems also means being above the attitudes created by those systems; reconditioning oneself to think realistically and honestly about money and the opportunities it creates is elemental in developing a mindset that will result in financial success and freedom.
