Motivation - Your Life Is Full Of Infinite Possibilities

If you are a parent, you know what it is like to wait for a firstborn child. In addition to picking out names, you spend a lot of time imagining what your baby will become, when he/she grows up.

The sky is the limit. You do not dream of your child flipping burgers at a fast food restaurant; you do not imagine your offspring living in the streets, or worse. You imagine all the best that life has to offer. So, why have you lost the same vision for yourself? Do you not know that your life is full of infinite possibilities? Have you ever stopped to think what happened to your own plans, ideas, dreams and goals?

I'm sure like me and most other people you have, or at least have had big dreams of what your future would be like. Do you still have them? Or have they been lost or torn apart by the pressure, stresses and strains of everyday life?

As a child, you have big dreams. The possibilities in life seem endless, and you have an attitude of invincibility! You are going to become somebody! You are going to make a difference! What happened? Are you just going to live the rest of your life in a state of resignation and complacency, or are you going to do something about it?

You have one life to live, and you have the choice of how you are going to make the most of it, or whether you are going to sit around and wish things were different. You get out of life exactly what you put into it. Contrary to what others might have you believe, there is no such thing as a free lunch. Sitting daydreaming will do nothing except keep you in a state of wishing thing could get better with no effort at all on your part.

When you are a pessimist, nothing in life is ever right. You notice all the bad things that happen to you and other people, and you would not recognize a blessing if it landed on your doorstep. You spend so much time feeling sorry for yourself and what you do not have; you essentially render yourself powerless to have any of the blessings that life has to offer. However, you can change your outlook on life-starting right now!

When you expect great opportunities, you will be surprised to find that the amazing can happen. Either you will observe a totally unexpected occurrence or you will recognize an opportunity when it comes along. As you learn to look for the positive things in life, you will be amazed at how often you find them-or they find you!

So, do you want to settle for a mediocre life? Do you want a life that is wasted away on wishes? Or, do you want the same things out of life that you dream for your children? If you believe in yourself, you will realize that your life is still full of infinite possibilities.
