Stun guns are a popular method of self-defense and are incredibly portable. Individuals concerned with protecting themselves can carry stun guns in a variety of methods and many such guns are camouflaged to appear like something altogether different. Tasers have gained much attention in the media as of late, but remain an effective tool for self-defense. They are fast, effective and offer a safer alternative for the persons carrying them over more aggressive methods. Controversy over the use of tasers by law enforcement offers continues to brew with a number of highly publicized death-by-taser incidents reported in the last several months.
