Many employees see the handwriting on the wall as far as their financial future is concerned, but have no idea how to go about starting a business. No amount of skill will get a new business off the ground without a paradigm shift, or change in mindset. Stress at work presents a significant challenge because you have very little control over the environment. Stressors can come at you from a variety of sources, including the people you work with, your physical office setup, and the type of work you do. Short of changing jobs (and probably finding yourself in a similar situation), avoiding everyday stress at the office just isn't possible. Most employees face negative feedback or rejection at some point in their careers. More often, it affects their self-esteem as careers and personal identities are closely intertwined. Job rejections, poor performance appraisals and office gossip, are all forms of criticism and must be dealt with constructively. Chronic stress over a period of time may make you feel totally helpless and unable to cope up with demands of life. 1 | ||
